Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Byron L. "Barry" Johnson, 78 of Columbia, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at the Susquehanna Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where he had resided since 2015. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Jane Mimnall Johnson.
Barry graduated from Columbia High School in 1965 and served stateside in the U.S.A.F. He retired from M & M Mars, Elizabethtown where he worked in the packaging department. In his earlier years he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Richard Whitesel, officiating.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation at parkinsons.org.
