C.A. Gilland, age 92 of Maryville passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a 1950 graduate of Everett High School. C.A. was a member of Grandview Baptist Church for 77 years. He retired from ALCOA and was a member of the 25 Year Club. Preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mike Greaser; parents, Oliver and Leafie Gilland. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Susie Loretta Gilland; son and daughter-in-law, David and Janice Gilland; grandchildren, Stephanie and Gary Perkins and Kelly and Tommy Kerr; great grandchildren, Bryson (Lindsay) Perkins, Makinley (Brady) White; Jakob Kerr and Kaylee Ann Kerr; great-great grandchildren, Jameson and Garrison Perkins; Brother, Oddie Gilland; sisters, Frances Brackin and Lois Jackson; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2025 in the Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m.with Rev. Chris Pass officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grandview Baptist Church, PO Box 5237, Maryville, TN 37802, in memory of C.A. Gilland.
