C. James Haussermann Jr. passed away on December 1, 2024, in Cincinnati at the age of 73. He was born on October 20, 1951.
Jim was a devoted husband to Joy Haussermann, with whom he was looking forward to celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day. He cherished his family, taking great joy in the company of his children and grandchildren. Jim is survived by his wife, Joy; daughter, Jamie (Mike) Hooven; son, Bob (Kristin); and grandchildren, Colt, Natalie, Callie, Cannon, and Myla.
Jim dedicated his career to law enforcement, working with Security at TriHealth and later volunteering with the Hamilton Township Police Department after his retirement. His commitment to public service was evident in his dedication to his roles and the community he served.
A service to honor Jim's life will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd (45236) Kenwood, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a small service at the funeral home before proceeding to Rest Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association in Jim's name.
