In Loving Memory of Dr. C. Conner White, Jr.
Dr. C. Conner White, Jr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and esteemed physician, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in
Chagrin Falls, Ohio, at the age of 89. Born on May 17, 1936, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Clark C. White Sr. and Mildred White, Conner lived a life defined by compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved and served.
A proud graduate of Poland Seminary High School (1954), Westminster College (1958), and The Ohio State University College of Medicine (1962), Conner devoted over 40 years to practicing Family Medicine in Youngstown. His patients were more than cases-they were family. With an old-fashioned approach to care, he made house calls, visited nursing homes, and ensured no patient was overlooked, even on holidays. His passion for medicine extended to teaching at Northeast Ohio Medical School (NEOMED), where he inspired countless young doctors with his wisdom and love for the profession. Dr. White served in the U.S. Air Force, was a proud Eagle Scout, a 32nd Degree Mason, a Son of the American Revolution, and a committed member to Christ Church in Youngstown.
Beyond medicine, Conner found joy in life's simple pleasures. A 50-year member of Youngstown Country Club, he was an avid golfer who cherished time on the fairways. His enthusiasm for target shooting led him to spend quiet hours in his Youngstown basement, meticulously reloading ammunition. Above all, Conner's heart belonged to his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Barb, whose love was his anchor; his four children, Jennifer Comstock (Chip), Dr. Clark White III (Judy), Scott, and Steven (Christy); nine adoring grandchildren: Sarah (Joe), Riley (Annie), Claudia, Andrew (Kristin), Brooke, Ainslie, Ella, Harrison and Tucker; a precious great-granddaughter, Emilia; and his brother David (Sally). His legacy of kindness, generosity, and service will live on in their hearts.
A private family service will honor Conner's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to support medical student education at NEOMED in memory of Dr. Conner White at https://www.neomed.edu/give/tribute, or by sending a donation to the NEOMED Foundation, 4209 St. Rt. 44, Rootstown, Ohio 44272.
