Caleb Jess Booker

Caleb Jess Booker, 22, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday December 30, 2025 at his home in Pine Mountain, Georgia.

Caleb was born on November 17, 2003 in LaGrange, Georgia. The son of Sarah Booker and the late Samuel Jess Booker.

Caleb, a son, a brother, a friend... A caring boy with a heart for his loved ones and the interests and opportunities he got to share with them. He had a love for Pokémon and creating/building things. He was a collector who loved to display his things, showing his collection off to anyone who'd listen to his walkthrough. His collection and his interests ranged from anime/manga to video games to figures and LEGO, or anything found interesting.

If you had a true, good conversation with Caleb, he would tell you everything he knew about it. He enjoyed sharing theories and ideas with others about a wide variety of topics. He was able to make expert judgments and appreciated the little things because it meant he could share it with the people he loved. His nickname was "Coogle" because he always had the answer or fact to share with someone.

Caleb was a 2022 graduate of Troup High School. He was in the art club for some of his time at Troup High, a subject that he continued to love throughout his life. He was a smart kid who did well in school and got along well with his peers and teachers.

He is survived by his mother, Sarah Booker; His siblings, Justin and Bentleigh Booker; his maternal grandparents, Roy and Patsy Bradley; His paternal Grandparents, Wayne and Karen Sundberg; His Aunts and uncles, Ida Bradley and Toney and Jessica Booker; His cousins, Logan, Kolby, and Elliet Booker, and Jamal Folds. In addition, many more family and friends who loved our BooBoo.

Caleb is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Jess Booker, his grandfather, Lesley Paul Booker, and his great-grandparents, John T. and Carlene Smith.

The family will receive friends at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Meadoway Gardens.
