Caleb Gage Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by St. Louis Cremation - Downtown from May 20 to May 21, 2022.

The heavens gained a bright, new star with the passing of Caleb Gage. He left this world living out his passion for fishing and being on the water. If Caleb was your friend, you had a friend for life. His love for people was truly a gift. The next person he met was his new best friend, and he never knew a stranger. He did everything with a passion and zeal, whether it was athletics, work, parenting or being the life of the party. He was an old- fashioned gentleman from Texas with a southern accent who always said "yes ma'am or no ma'am" and he believed you always opened the door for a lady.

Caleb was a baptized believer in Christ and didn't shy away from telling people about God. He had a heart of gold – He was always helping someone move, work on a project, or he was providing some sort of rescue to someone in distress. Many of his friends say he positively changed their life forever by sharing his beliefs.

Caleb lived in Arlington, TX from 1st grade through his freshman year of high school. He attended Martin High before moving to Chesterfield, MO prior to his sophomore year. He was a graduate of Parkway West High School Class of 2008, where he participated in athletics and student activities. After he graduated, Caleb became a certified personal trainer and shortly after that, he started Gage's Landscaping. He formed many deep friendships and connections in Missouri and Arlington. He would want them all to know he loved them deeply and cherished their memories together.

Caleb's love for his family was endless. He strived to make his Daddy proud and to follow in his footsteps, he was the definition of a Mama's boy (was happy to admit it), admired his sister dearly and unconditionally loved his special needs younger brother – his dedication to the care of him was remarkable.

Caleb became a father four years ago and it transformed his life. The birth of his daughter Adalynn changed his life for the better and he became totally devoted to being a good dad for her. He said she was the best thing that ever happened to him and all that knew him would affirm he was a wonderful father.

Caleb is survived by his parents Gary and Carol Gage, sister and brother-in-law Katie and Tony Malfer, brother Collin Gage, daughter Adalynn Gage, best friend Jessie Schiller, aunts Karen George, Lisa Hyzy, Renita Paxson (Walter), Leslie Dixon (Joey), Joni Paul (Ted), Julie Neatherlin, nieces Bentley and Braelynn and grandmothers Marilyn Gage and Sharon George. And many great uncles, great aunts and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life service at Lafayette Church of Christ in Ballwin, MO on Sunday, May 22nd, 2-4pm. To join virtually click here.

The celebration in Arlington, TX will be at Woodland West Church of Christ on Saturday, June 4th, 1-3pm. To join virtually click here.
