Born on February 7, 2005, Jordan Allen came into the world as the cherished son of LaQuita Allen and Derrick Jenkins. From his earliest days, he formed a strong bond with his sole sibling, Eternity Braden, nurturing a relationship characterized by closeness and affection. The loss of his father cast a shadow over his life, creating a profound sense of absence that was deeply felt. Despite
the heartache of his father's passing, the love that remained within his family continued to inspire and uplift him, shaping his journey in significant ways. Jordan began his high school educational journey at Parkway West High School, where he studied until his sophomore year. After that, he made the decision to transfer to Francis Howell North, culminating his high school
experience with his graduation in 2023. From a young age, he developed a passion for reading, often immersing himself in books that challenged his comprehension and extended beyond his grade level. In addition to his literary pursuits, Jordan had a strong affinity for sports. His athletic endeavors included playing basketball for Bethlehem Lutheran Church from 2014 to 2017. During his time in high school, he expanded his athletic repertoire to include football and track, showcasing his diverse talents. Notably,
2023 marked a significant achievement for him as he was honored with the title of Sprinter of the Year in track and field. Following his graduation, Jordan secured a scholarship to Truman University, where he immediately continued his education. Jordan later made the decision to become a construction worker. After completing his studies at Mokan Institute in 2024, Jordan pursued a career in construction, earning certifications that paved the way for his new role. Shortly after graduation, he began working as a Roofer with Western Specialty Contractors. At the time of his untimely passing, he was actively involved in the expansion project for Barnes Jewish Hospital. Beyond his roofing responsibilities, Jordan dedicated time as a Camp Counselor and Direct Support Professional at St. Louis Arc's R&R Camp, where he facilitated enjoyable and enriching experiences for individuals with developmental disabilities. At just 9 years old, Jordan made the heartfelt decision to accept Jesus Christ
into his life. A few years later, on his 11th birthday, February 7, 2016, he took another significant step by getting baptized at Transformation Christian Church and World Outreach Center. Jordan's unwavering loyalty and deep affection touched the lives of many, including his family and friends. The warmth he brought to every relationship will be profoundly felt in his absence. Those left to treasure the beautiful memories forged with him include his dedicated mother, LaQuita Allen, and his beloved sister, Eternity Braden. Additionally, his devoted paternal grandparents Drusilla Jenkins (Stephen Rath), and maternal grandfather, William Adams, his godmother, Natalie Johnson, his maternal uncle Timothy Allen, his paternal uncles, Kevin, Kegan, and Kaden Washington, his paternal aunts, Sharon, Marissa and Abrielle Washington, and many maternal and paternal great-aunts and great-uncles will hold onto the special moments they shared with him. Each of these cherished individuals can take solace in the lasting impact Jordan made on their lives.
