In the Father’s infinite wisdom, He called Caleb Brian Hoffecker home to His side on Friday, October 3, 2025. Caleb was a miracle child, the only surviving child of Roger and Martha Hoffecker. Caleb was born December 12, 1999.
From the beginning, his beautifully unique personality shined through. He was blessed with a creative flair and artistic talent, always striving for precision. Caleb also enjoyed working for Hugus Fruit Farm and Xcel Management.
God stitched Caleb’s body together in the womb. For reasons known only to God, He allowed Caleb to develop an aortic aneurysm. According to the Father’s will, that aneurysm burst, causing Caleb’s body to collapse to the floor and his soul to fly homeward to his Savior.
Martha and Roger are eternally grateful that the Heavenly Father allowed them to be Caleb’s parents. The nearly 26 years that Caleb was with them, is and was truly a great blessing. And they look forward to the day when they see Caleb again.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4: 7-8
In addition to his parents, Caleb is survived by his church family at Turkey Run Mennonite Church.
Caleb was preceded in death by his grandparents, William E. and Gweneth M. (Jackson) Skelly and Lee C. and Jean M. (Crossan) Hoffecker Jr.
