Mr Calvert Scott

Calvert M. Scott, 51, of Spring Hill passed away Friday, January 8, 2010. Born on December 19th, 1958 in Kingston, Jamaica to Caymanian parents Lascelles and Emily Scott he grew up in Jamaica before his family moved to Miami, USA. He was a resident of Spring Hill for over a decade. After almost 25 years of working as a pharmacist he recently retired from Pharmacy work with Walgreens due to his deteriorating health. He was a lifelong GATOR Nation Alumni having obtained his Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Florida in 1986. He enjoyed playing chess and building and reconfiguring computers networks. A religious person, he accepted Jesus as his Savior at an early age and was baptized at Bethel Baptist Church in the Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands. He continued this devotion to Christ throughout his adolescent and adult life.
