Calvin Wesley Conley, 66, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025. Born on October 8, 1958, in Giles
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jennings Conley and Shirley Fletcher Conley, and his first wife, Tracie Stamper Conley.
Calvin is survived by his former spouse, Melissa Conley; his stepchildren, Brian and Brandon Hall; his brother Butch Conley; his brother Greg Conley (Cindy); his sister Pam Jonas (Mike); and his special friend, Sissie Fischer. He is also survived by his aunts Linda Farley and Darlene Fisher, as well as many cousins. Calvin cherished his nieces Priscilla Jonas and Jennifer Jonas and his nephews Nick Caldwell and Billy Conley.
Calvin had a deep love for life's adventures. Calvin also enjoyed traveling to places like the Bahamas, Atlantic City, Myrtle Beach, and the Outer Banks.
A devoted NASCAR fan, Calvin especially admired Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He was equally passionate about the Green Bay Packers, proudly donning his cheese head on game days. An avid fisherman, he found peace and joy on the water while casting his line.
In 2004, Calvin started his own business as a carpenter, where he took pride in his work and the craftsmanship he brought to each project. He also cherished dining at the Shenandoah Restaurant, where he made many fond memories with friends and loved ones.
Calvin will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his deep love for his family and friends, and his unwavering passion for the things he held dear. His legacy of laughter, kindness, and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
