Calvin Gray Obituary
Born September 3, 1939 in Creekside, he was the son of the late William and Helen (Price) Gray.
Cal was married to his true love, Judy (Kennemuth) Gray. She preceded him in death.
Throughout his lifetime, Cal consistently demonstrated a lifelong dedication to hard work, an unrelenting enthusiasm for his work and a genuine desire to help others.
He was passionate about hunting and spending time in the great outdoors.
Cal made many memories with his family and friends while hunting all around the world, however, his favorite place for hunting was right at home.
Seeing Cal shirtless around town was just another normal day at work.
After retiring, he really enjoyed the time with his "Crony Club" at breakfast, where they solved all the world's problems. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include three children, Randy Gray, Kim (Barney) Lindermuth and Carla Gray; four grandchildren, April (Sean) Weidow, Lisa (Jimmy) Kessler, Heather McCarthy and Michael (Hannah) Lindermuth; five great-grandchildren, Carter Kessler, Ava Kessler, Charlee McCarthy, Callan McCarthy and a baby girl Lindermuth (due January 2026); three brothers, Tom Gray, Ken Gray and Gary Gray; three sisters, Jackie McConnell, Gladys Gray and Cindy Bernard; and his special friend, Kay Bish.
In addition to his parents and wife Judy, Cal was preceded in death by one grandson, Zachary; two brothers, Dave Gray and Ron Gray; and three sisters, Jessie Petrosky, Barbara Taddy and Mildred Hart.
At the wishes of Cal and his family, all services will be held privately.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, located at 2834 Maplevale Road in Brookville.
Memorial contributions may be made in Cal's name to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 or Camo Cares, P.O. Box 972, Knox, PA 16232.
