Calvin Thornton Obituary
Mr. Calvin Lorenzo Thornton, age 53 of Hartwell, Ga., entered his eternal rest on February 2, 2024.
He was born on May 23, 1970 in Royston, Ga., to his parents, Talmadge Thornton and Louvenia Martin Thornton. He was a facilitator with Purina Mills. Calvin loved fishing and spending time with his family and was a huge Florida State Football fan.
Left to cherish his memories are; his parents, wife, Kathie Thornton, children, Darius Thornton, Ryan Thornton, Tyson Thornton, Mya Thornton, siblings, Patricia (Floyd) McIntosh, Cozell Harper, Michael (Annette) Thornton, Charles Thornton, and James (Angela) Thornton, grandchildren, Chloe Thornton, Arianna Thornton, Tyson Thornton, Ryleigh Thornton, Kyler Thornton and Ariah Thornton.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at One o'clock from Rucker's Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Rucker's Grove Cemetery.
He will lie in state on Friday, February 9, 2024 9 a.m -5 p.m. at the funeral home for those that wish to pay their respects.
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
