Cameron Mitchell Alexander, aged 50, departed this world on the sixth day of January, 2026, leaving behind a tapestry of cherished memories woven throughout his life. Born on the seventeenth of July, 1975, Cameron lived a life enriched by dedication, passion, and a profound love for both his family and country.
As a proud United States Navy Veteran, Cameron demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serve, embodying the spirit of duty and honor that characterizes our armed forces. His military service held a special place in his heart, representing not only a profession but a deep-seated love for his country that he carried through all aspects of his life.
Beyond his military accomplishments, Cameron was a man of diverse interests and talents. He took immense joy in the art of breeding labradanes, an endeavor that brought him closer to nature and filled his days with warmth and companionship. His love for machinery shone brightly as he dedicated countless hours to working on cars and motorcycles, relishing the exhilaration of anything that went fast. A talented boilermaker, Cameron found pride in his craftsmanship, always seeking to merge functionality with artistry in his work.
He is survived by a loving circle of family and friends who will remember him fondly. His daughter, Hallie Ingram, was a testament to his unwavering love and commitment as a father. Cameron also leaves behind his brothers, Calen, Corey, and Landon Alexander, whose shared memories will be a source of solace in the days ahead. His cousin, Jeremiah Alexander, and his extended family, including uncles Danny and Mike Alexander, aunt Shelia Phillips, uncle Bradley Alexander, and cousin Brandon Alexander, will carry forth the legacy of love and laughter that Cameron so generously bestowed upon them. Additionally, he is mourned by his dear friend Darius Jones, who stood by him through thick and thin.
Cameron is predeceased by his parents, Larry Wayne Alexander and Theresa McGough Alexander, whose nurturing spirits shaped him into the man he became; as well as his beloved grandmother, Carolyn Sue Alexander, and grandfather, Lacy Riley Alexander, both of whom now welcome him into their eternal embrace.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Cameron's honor at the Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory located in Carbon Hill, Alabama, on the eighth of January, 2026, starting at 5:00 PM and transitioning into reflections on his life at 7:00 PM. This gathering will stand as a testament to a life well-lived and a spirit that continues to inspire.
In the hearts of those who loved him, Cameron Mitchell Alexander shall forever remain a luminous presence, guiding them with the love, humor, and resilience that characterized his remarkable journey through this life.
