Candace A. Collucci

Candace A. Collucci (nee Clerico) of Pine Brook, NJ, formerly of Newark, NJ, passed away peacefully with her loving family by
her side on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 75 years of age.
Candace was born and raised in Newark, NJ, the daughter of the late Edyth (nee Grasso) and Louis Clerico. She had resided in Pine Brook for thirty-five years before moving to Florham Park for eight years and finally moving to her daughter's home in North Plainfield three years ago.
Candace received an Associate Degree in Fashion Illustration from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She had a passion for art and fashion and was extremely talented. Candace worked for a magazine in New York City for years, doing fashion illustrations, and later started her own freelance business out of her home while raising her two children. Candace ran her own business called Candi's Adv., continuing to use her talents to create newspaper advertisements for local fashion boutiques. Candace also had the privilege to design the merchandise for Whitney Houston's 1990 'I'm Your Baby Tonight' tour. Next, Candace worked as a Giorgio Armani Sales Specialist at Neiman Marcus in Short Hills, NJ, for 20 years before retiring in 2015. There she created some forever friendships she cherished and continued throughout her life. Candace celebrated her love of art as a Visual Arts Center of New Jersey member.
Candace was pre-deceased in 2005 by her beloved husband, Ronald. She is survived by her loving children, Ronald A. Collucci and his wife, Christina Stivaly of North Caldwell and Erica Collucci and her husband, Scott Saint Hilaire of North Plainfield, NJ; her cherished grandchildren, Nico Saint Hilaire and Sophia and Anthony Collucci; and her dear brother Louis Clerico and his wife, Roe Clerico, of Bradley Beach, NJ and sister-in-law Ellen Uchrin and her husband Steve Uchrin of Colonia, NJ.
The visitation will be held at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave., Summit, NJ, on Thursday, April 13, from 4-8 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ, on Friday, April 14, at 9:30 AM, followed by the burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
