Rose L. "DiRoma" Collucci

Rose L. Collucci, 91, of West Haven, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, was called by the Heavenly Father on February 3, 2026.

A daughter of the late Carmine and Carmella (Cerboni) DiRoma, she was born in Bronx, NY on July 27, 1934. Rose was the wife of the late Joseph F. Collucci, who died March 23, 2020. Survived by daughters Lisa Collucci Clark and Linda Collucci Tyson; grandchildren Christina Alston, William Clark, Jr., Richard Clark II, Laura Filyaw, and Candace Knox; great-grandchildren Jonas, Zihana, Elijah, and Keylon; as well as brother Carmine DiRoma. In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by daughter Roseanne Collucci and sister Victoria Sobeck.

Growing up in The Bronx, Rose attended cosmetology school - hairdressing was her first love. She was a devoted homemaker, and enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting and knitting. Rose was also an avid antique collector throughout her adult life, and she took great pride in decorating her home. She worked for many years alongside her husband at their store, Joe's Wine & Spirits, in New Haven. Above all else, Rose was treasured for being a wonderful person, always willing to lend an ear and to be readily available for her loved ones.

Rose will be sorely missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Calling hours will be held at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
