Candace R. Dean, 41, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 10, 2025 with her family and friends by her side.
She was born on May 19, 1983 to Dorothy Dean.
Candace is survived by her fiancé, Jesse ‘Smoke’ Johnson, her sister Allison (Joe) Staley; nephews, Matthew and Andrew Staley; her best friends, Nena Rodrigues and Carlie Burgess; her goddaughters, Mya and Aliya; and countless other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Dorothy and brother, Dallas.
Candace had so much love for everyone that she met and considered everyone her family. She showed love to and spoiled all of her ‘precious babies’ and would do anything for them. She was a wonderful friend, Nee Nee, sister, and partner in crime. She was everything to all who knew her.
She worked for CH Ellis for 21 years and loved her work family.
Candace will be missed dearly by anyone who had the chance to meet her.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until service time. Candace will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
