Candace Propes Obituary
Candace “Candy” Propes, 59, of Bessemer City, passed away at CaroMont Regional on May 23, 2023. She was born April 4, 1964, in Rutherford County, to the late Douglas MacArthur Propes and the late Delma Farmer Buchanan.
Candy enjoyed working puzzles and playing Scrabble and Yahtzee. She was also a loving “Grammy” to her ten grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Chad Williams, Misty McAbee (Jarrett), J.J. Woodall (Jessica); brother, Rusty Propes (Mary); sister, Achwha Gatlin; grandchildren, Destiny Williams, Kira Woodall, Kai Woodall, Ziva McAbee, Mileena McAbee, Alana Woodall McAbee, Trey Woodall, Hunter Woodall, June Woodall, Jaxon Woodall.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Candy’s funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on May 28, 2023, at with Reverend Sam Barnett officiating.
Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC.
