Candice J Eucker

Candice J. Eucker, 73, of Peoria Illinois, died on December 4, 2023 at OSF Richard L Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Born in Beloit Wisconsin on April 7, 1950 to the late Merrill and Mary (Maurier) Thurston, she married Raymond Eucker on December 5, 1981 in Beloit WI. He survives.

Candice is also survived by her children Melissa Rankins of Beloit WI, Luciana Rankins of Miami; grandchildren Alexandra Place of Long Beach, Adam (Marissa) Rankins of Peoria and Alijah Fricks of Beloit. She has 5 step children; 14 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter April Rankins.  

For over 40 years, Candice enjoyed bowling in different leagues and tournaments with friends. She was very active in her Churches: Central Christian when she was in Beloit and Richwood Community Church in Peoria. She was a large part of Operation Hope at Central Christian Church providing clothing for 1000’s of community members in need.  She was also a very avid reader.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2024. Details to be announced by the family. In lieu of traditional flowers Candice requested a donation to Central Christian Church in Beloit WI. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com.
