Candice Young Obituary

In Loving Memory of Candice Nicole Young. Candice Nicole (Crawley) Young, age 42, of Jacksonville, FL, went home to be with Jesus on June 22, 2025, after a courageous fight with cancer. Candy, a beloved wife and devoted mother, was called friend by all who knew her. An avid runner, outdoor adventurer, and dedicated Boy Scout leader, Candy lived life with passion, purpose, and boundless love. She graduated from West Nassau High School, class of 2000.She is survived by her husband, Matthew Young, and her two beloved children, Gavin Walker Young and Mary Ayn Rae Young, her parents Richard and Diane Crawley of Callahan and her sister Theresa Bolden of Fernandina Beach. A celebration of Candy's life will be held at 11:00 AM on July11, 2025, at Englewood Baptist Church, 5675 Kennerly Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Candy's life was guided by her favorite scripture verse. "... what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" (Micah 6:8 KJV). Her legacy of love, strength, and grace will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. I´m so heart broken for your loss. It was such a shock to hear of candy´s passing she was a beautiful child and a more beautiful woman. Such a giving heart. Will be praying for all of yall for peace and understanding.
