Candida Guzman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Candida Guzman, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 5, 2026, at the age of 91 Candida was Born in Villa Riva, Dominican Republic.
Candida was a hardworking and devoted woman who dedicated her life to her family. She found joy in sewing and painting and was known for her strength, kindness, and loving spirit. Her home and heart were always open to those she loved, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and family unity.
She is survived by her eight beloved children: Lorenzo Paulino, Regina Paulino, Conception Paulino, Víctor Paulino, Escolastica Paulino-Jovell, Altagracia Paulino, Guadalupe Paulino, and Jacqueline Paulino. She also leaves behind 23 cherished grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren, all of whom will continue to carry her love and memory in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, Massachusetts 01844.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary's Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts, 01840. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in St. Mary's / Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Candida Guzman will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory, love, and strength will live on through the many lives she touched.
