Captola 'Cappy' Joe Childers, 73, passed away on February 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 14, 1951, to Robert and Marilyn (Wright) McCarthy.
Cappy married the love of her life, Ron Childers, on December 26, 1970, and they enjoyed 54 amazing years together.

Cappy is survived by her husband, Ron, daughter Sabrina Stokes (Peter) and son Jon Childers (Caren). She is also survived by her sister, Terry Dirr (Mike) and brothers, Bob McCarthy (Cindy), Pat McCarthy, Brian McCarthy (Leslie), Tim McCarthy as well her favorite aunt Sally McCarthy along with many nieces, nephews and beloved cousins.
