So very sorry to learn of the passing of Cari. I always remember her as a sweet lady, a devoted grandmother and mother. My prayers are with the entire family on her loss. May she rest in the peace of the Lord. ❤

Cari is my cousin and was always a bright light in our family. She was one of the sweetest, kindest people on the planet. I will miss seeing her on Facebook with all her positivity and comments on everyone’s posts. My thoughts are with her family. So happy she isn’t in any more pain

She was a sweet, upbeat snd fun. I can see she raised a fine family
We reconnected on Facebook, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see her.

Cari's Obituary

Carolyn M. “Cari” Welsh, 59, of Pen Argyl, passed away, Sunday, November 16, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus.   She was the wife of John R. Welsh, together they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in March of 2025. 

Born In Islip, NY, January 29, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. Rondello and Eileen M. (McManus) Cilurso. 

Prior to retiring, Cari was employed by M & M Mars as a pricing specialist. 

She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, reading, crocheting, collecting Fiestaware, and shopping. 

In addition to her husband John, she is survived by a daughter, Nicole E. Welsh and her husband Michael Lessmeier of Northampton, two sons, Johnny R. Welsh and his wife Vanessa of Northampton, and Thomas G. Welsh of Pen Argyl, a grandson, Liam James Welsh, a sister, Jessica Quesnel and her husband Jay of Rutland, Vermont, two brothers, Thomas Rondello and his wife Josie of Brick, NJ, and Casey Rondello of Venice, California, sisters in law Diane Sparno of Bangor, Patricia Becker of Bangor, and Ginni Coyle and her husband Kevin of Mt. Bethel, and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, James D. “Jamie” Welsh, January 15, 2017 and her mother in law, Anna Welsh, January 5, 2016, who loved and treated her as her own daughter. 

There will be a visitation, Sunday, November 23, 2025, beginning at 10 AM until time of Memorial Service at 2 PM, at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl.
