Carin Lynn Ouimette, age 64 of Hazelhurst, WI passed away on Tuesday, September 30th at Careview of Minocqua.
Carin was born on January 17, 1961 in Chicago, Ill the daughter of Kenneth and Carolyn (nee Stern) Ferg. Carin graduated from Park Falls High School and worked at Trigs of Minocqua before retiring after 38 years of service. She married Nate Ouimette on October 28, 1989, he survives.
Carin was actively involved with the Lakeland Swim Club for 27 years and loved spending time with her husband, kids, grandkids, and dogs. She enjoyed camping, taking long rides to enjoy fall colors and watching her Packers.
She is survived by her husband Nate Ouimette and daughters Lynda (David) Hagen, Jr. and Jenna (Dan) Gore and by grandchildren Violet Hagen, David J. Hagen III, Sophia Hagen, Nathaniel Hagen and Lily and Winter Gore and by her siblings Coleen (Paul) Frame and Cathy Anderson-Ferg and brother and sister in laws; Mike (Michelle) Ouimette, Charlie (Aimee) Ouimette and Becky (Bradford) Ouimette and by Father in law Vic Ouimette and by her Aunt Marilee Ferg and her nieces; Brandy Birk, Charly Petrie, Emily (Alex) Gonzalas, Sierra Ouimette and nephews; Ryan Anderson, Dylan, Noah and Logan Ouimette and great niece Leah Ouimette.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Carolyn Ferg, her step mom Joan Ouimette and nephew Zackary Weiberg.
Memorial Gathering for Carin will take place on Monday, October 13th at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI from 11:00 am till 12:00 noon followed by a Service at noon.
