Carl Braun Obituary
Carl Blaine Braun was born March 14, 1962, the son of Robert and Evangeline (DeLorme) Braun, in Minot. He was raised and educated in Minot.
Carl worked for his brother at Bob's Maintenance and Remodeling for over 26 years. He was known for his meticulous workmanship and strong work ethic. Carl took pride in every job he completed, no matter how big or small, and was known as both a hardworking man and a bit of a perfectionist who always wanted things done right.
Outside of work, Carl found joy in spending time outdoors; whether fishing or simply enjoying a cookout with family and friends. He also took great pride in keeping his yard looking its best, always aiming to have the nicest lawn around. He had a love for 80s rock music.
Carl had a great sense of humor. He was always ready with a joke that kept everyone laughing. He was incredibly generous and caring. He had a big heart and a loving spirit; Carl was always quick to lend a helping hand to those in need.
In his free time, Carl enjoyed spending time with friends, his life partner Missy, and working outside at home.
Carl was blessed with one daughter, Breanna. He loved being a grandpa and he enjoyed playing horseshoes with his grandchildren and creating lasting memories. He cherished his family and was always there whenever he was called upon; ready to help, support, and be present.
Carl will be remembered for his big heart, his unwavering loyalty, and his love for family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
His loving family includes: daughter, Breanna (Scot Smith) Braun; grandchildren, Adonis Smith, Nadia Smith, Nyomi Sanderson; brothers, Bryan (Valerie) Braun, Ed (Chris) Braun, Robert C (Carolyn) Braun, Russel Braun; sister, Debra Person; life partner, Missy McNamara and her children, Zachary Fedorenko, Dustin McNamara, and Brandon McNamara; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
