Carl S. Camp, 51, born June 23, 1974, in DeLand, FL, passed away peacefully in his home on December 20th, 2025. Carl is survived by his wife, Rebecca Camp, of 31 years. His sons Justin (Hitomi) Camp, Chris Camp, Matthew (Kaitlynn) Camp, David Camp. His daughters Emily (Jordan) Hanshaw, Abigail (Noe) Guevara, Lillian (Gregory) Gannon. His mother, Dolores Camp, and his brother, Charles (Teresa) Camp. His grandchildren Ray, Ian, Cameron, Savannah, Parker, and Jocelyn. His fur babies Bagel, Millie, and Sport. A host of friends and family, along with the nurses and staff at Fresenius Kidney Care in Ironton, OH, and the VA drivers. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Camp, his grandson, Noah Camp, and his niece, Claudia Rosalia Camp. He was a devout Christian of the Lutheran faith and was a proud member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Russell, KY, and Centenary Independent Christian Church in Ironton, OH. He served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1993 to 1996 aboard the USS Constellation stationed in San Diego, CA. He worked for Norfolk Southern on the railroad for 22 years. He was a proud Miami Hurricanes fan and a lover of trains, guns, U2, and America.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Centenary Independent Christian Church, 3424 State Route 243, Ironton, OH 45638, with fellowship to follow.
Wallace Family Funeral Home, South Point, OH, is honored to assist the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.wallaceffh.com.
