Carl Fred Camp Sr.

Carl Fred Camp Sr., age 90, of Sweetwater, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. He was a member of the Sweetwater First Methodist Church for 73 years. Retired from the Athens Utilities Board after many years. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force after 3 years of service. He loved football, nascar and fishing. Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Geraldine Inez Pardue Camp, his parents: Frank W. and Jimmie L. Camp, brother: Frank Camp.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law: Fred and Linda Camp, of Sweetwater, daughter and son-in-law: Sandy and John Hillencamp, of Farragut, grandchildren: David Camp, Johnny and Jimmy Hillencamp. Great-grandchildren: Kornelia Camp, Dakota Camp, Lyla Mae and Tripp Hillencamp, sister: Regina Camp,.

A private graveside service will be conducted at a later date. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements.
