Carl departed this life on September 11, 2022, in Benton Harbor, MI.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ieishia Blackwell; his father, Carl Coleman Sr.; three children, Carson Coleman, Camyah Coleman, and Charm Coleman; one daughter to be born December 2022-Caliyah Coleman; maternal grandmother, Zina Smith; maternal great-grandfather, Willie James Blackwell. Three sisters, Keariah Smith, Taniyah Elliott, and Carmeisha Coleman; two brothers, Demari Smith and Patrick Thomas; two special uncles, Domo Blackwell and James Blackwell; his favorite cousins, Tyshon Newman and Benny Newman and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Judy Sims; maternal grandfather, James Blackwell; maternal great-grandmother, Charlie Smith; one sister, Carleisha Coleman.
