Parents Marjorie Emily Rexroth Gustafson and Carl Michael Gustafson Sr.
Born in Torrance, CA on August 7th, 1938, moved to Bakersfield, CA in 1940.
Growing up, Carl attended school & church activities and spent time in his dad's auto shop. He was an Eagle Scout and graduated from East High. In 1958, at a church function is where he met Glenda Lorraine Scrivner and proceeded to get married on June 21, 1959.
Throughout his life he worked as an auto mechanic and machinist. He enjoyed stock car racing, working on cars and being in the Model T Ford club. He went on some great vacations & to some great swap meets. He also loved spending time with family and friends.
Survived by daughters, Becky (Brian) Shellcross & Michelle (Robbie) Dixon, five grandkids and four great-grandkids.
Preceded in death by his wife Glenda, son James and brother Tom.
