Carl R. Hubert

Carl Robert Hubert, 81, of Saugerties died Thursday December 14, 2023 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. He was born January 12, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio a son of the late Everett and Pansy Hubert. Carl worked for many years as an engineer at IBM in Kingston. He was a fan of Ohio State Football and the Ohio State Band and the New York Yankees. In his earlier years he played tennis and also enjoyed skiing, which he enjoyed doing well into his retirement. Carl enjoyed model trains and his garden railroad. Keeping up in current events, he would read the paper and watch the news daily. Surviving is his wife of fifty seven years Nelda (Roush) Hubert and their children; Deborah Hubert, Carl R. Hubert, Jr. and his wife Rena, Elizabeth Hubert, Jeffrey Hubert and his wife Elissa, and Brian Hubert. Seven grandchildren also survive. Cremation and memorial arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V.
