He was born June 6, 1953, in Metcalfe County, to the late Arthur and Opal Richards Kelsay. He worked as a sawmill worker and was a farmer.
Survivors include:
His wife – Maylene Spencer Kelsay of Columbia
Three sons – Carl Dwayne Kelsay, David Allen Kelsay (April Stotts) and Stephen Allen Kelsay (Haley) all of Columbia
One daughter – Charlotte May Kelsay (Joseph Harrison) of Columbia
One brother – Randy Kelsay of Columbia
Four sisters – Frances Courtney of Somerset, Lola Coy and Mary Kelsay both of Columbia, Lisa Courtney of Breeding
11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way
Several other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Mitchell Eggers officiating
Burial in Freedom Cemetery
Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Thursday
Casket Bearers – Demon Spencer, Leon Spencer, Autry Loy, Roger Rooks, Dale Murphy, Jerry Ford
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
