Carl Randall Leonard

Carl Randall Leonard, aged 68, of Killeen, Texas, passed away on January 13, 2026. Born on June 18, 1957, Carl dedicated 32 years of his life to serving in the Army, a testament to his commitment and patriotism.

Carl was an avid classic car enthusiast and golfer, with a particular fondness for tractors and Mustang cars. His love for YouTube was well-known among his family and friends, with whom he cherished spending time, especially his grandchildren. Carl was also an active member of the American Legion #573 as a Post Service Officer, the Disabled American Veterans in Houston, Texas, and the Copperas Cove Golf Association. He also volunteered many hours at the Armed Services YMCA food pantry

He is survived by his loving wife, Delia Rita Leonard; his sons, Aaron, Mario, and Jessie Leonard; his brother, Tyrone Leonard; and sisters, Lisa Marriott, Teresa Leonard with her husband Richey, and Sarah Leonard-Schmidt Gosslin. Carl was also a cherished grandfather to Arabella Lundy and Freya Leonard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Scott Abel and Mary Francis Leonard.

Carl was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church in Owensville, OH. His commitment to his faith was quietly profound and guided him throughout his life.

A service to honor Carl's life will be held on January 27, 2026, at 10 am at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, where his dedication and service will be commemorated. Carl's life was marked by his service to his country, his community, and his profound love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
