Carl Edward Paulie

Carl E. Paulie, 70, of Parsons, passed away at 7:55 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2024, at his home.
Carl Edward Paulie was born on January 18, 1954, to John Joseph, Sr. and Theresa Marie (Westhoff) Paulie in St. Paul. He grew up and attended school in St. Paul.
For a time, he worked for the City of Parsons. He later owned and operated his landscaping business before having to retire from disability.
Carl enjoyed the outdoors. He loved working on his yard, raising a garden, identifying and giving tours on Kansas' wildflowers. He also enjoyed raising chickens and goats and listening to 80's music.
Carl was in a relationship with Nancy L. Delozier for over 19 years. She survives of the home.

Jim Paulie of St. Paul, Kansas
Raymond Paulie and his wife, Rose, of St. Paul, Kansas
Three sisters – Lori Paisley and her husband, Kenneth, of St. Paul, Kansas
Mary Creasser and her husband, Wayne, of Sedgwick, Kansas
Jean Kroenke of St. Paul, Kansas
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2024, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, Parsons. There will be a private family burial. Memorials are suggested to P.A.L.S and may be left at or sent to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, PO Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
