Carl Swift Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jones Funeral Chapel Inc on Oct. 25, 2024.
Carl Ray Swift, a man of profound love and indelible intelligence, left this world on October 24, 2024, at his residence in Morgantown, KY. Born on October 20, 1952, in Rosine, KY, Carl's life journey was one marked by dedication, both to his family and to his work.
Carl's spirit is carried on through his beloved wife of 19 years, Carolyn Swift of Morgantown, KY, and his devoted children: David Swift (Shawna) of Beaver Dam, KY, Jason Swift (Cheryl) of Morgantown, KY, and Kim Crowe (Glen) of Beaver Dam, KY. His legacy will also live on in the hearts of his 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
For over 35 years, Carl was a dedicated employee at Young's Manufacturing, where his contributions were invaluable. He found spiritual solace and community with his fellow members at the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. An ardent lover of the great outdoors, Carl found joy in hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden. Above all, the times he savored the most were those spent enveloped in the laughter and love of his grandchildren.
Carl was a paragon of love and intelligence and a handy man who could fix anything. Carl Ray Swift was a beacon of strength, and his light will continue to shine through the lives of those he touched.
