Carl Eugene "Gene" White,76 of Olin, NC was born on February 23, 1949, in Iredell County, North Carolina. He passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, at Autumn Care of Statesville. He lived a fulfilling life of 76 years, marked by his love for family, friends, and the simple joys he cherished.
Gene was a proud 1967 graduate of North Iredell High School. He dedicated many years of his working life to Wal-Mart as a stocker, where he was known for his diligent work ethic and friendly demeanor.
A true enthusiast of life's treasures, Gene had a deep appreciation for antiques, yard sales, and flea markets. He relished the thrill of adding to his beloved collection, each piece a testament to his keen eye and passion for history.
Gene is preceded in death by his loving parents, Clyde Eugene White and Margaret Hall White, as well as his brothers, Ronnie White and Gerald White. He is survived by his brother Jimmy White and his wife Andra; nephews Jason, Jonathan and his wife Becky, and Justin; as well as great-nephews and nieces Gavin, Emma, William, and Jenna. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories shared with him.
No formal services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Gene's memory by going antiquing and purchasing something that speaks to you, just as Gene would have enjoyed.
Gene will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy lives on through the stories and memories he leaves behind.
