Carl Williams Obituary
Carl R. Williams, age 84, a resident of Leonard, Michigan, passed away May 9, 2025 at The Willows Senior Living. Carl was born January 11, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Robert Elmer and Helen Zelenak Williams. After graduating high school, Carl joined the Army, and served our country for nine years. Carl worked in the construction field as a truck driver. He loved woodworking, painting, gardening, coin collecting, and flea marketing. Carl was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.
Carl is survived by his children, Debra (Greg) Loggins, Timothy (Aimee) DeSano, Jeffrey (Sandra) DeSano, and Carla Balen, grandchildren, Carmella DeSano, Donald DeSano, Angela (Eric) DiMartino, Crystal (Keith) Loggins, Shana Loggins, Dominic (Judith) DeSano, Antonio DeSano, Raphael DeSano, Jeffrey (Alexandria) DeSano II, Jacob (Christie) DeSano, Gabrielle (Joshua) Clark, as well as 14 great-grandchildren. Carl is predeceased by his wife Cleo Williams in 1989, and his son, Donald DeSano in 1980.
A private burial will be held on Monday May 12, 2025, 10:00AM at the Utica Cemetery, Utica, Michigan.
