Carl Andrew "Fuzz" Yarbor

Mr. Carl Andrew Yarbor, affectionately known by all as "Fuzz," was the son of Mrs. Hilda Yarbor and the late Mr. Phillip Yarbor of Burlington, NC.
Carl attended Burlington Public Schools. He graduated from Walter M. Williams High School in the Class of 1971. Carl later matriculated into Barber-Scotia College in Concord, NC, finishing in the Class of 1975 with a degree in Business Administration. During his college years, he pledged Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc.
Carl worked for Barclays America for over seven years, Piedmont Airlines for six years, and over two decades as an independent real estate agent.
To know Carl was to know his love for music and jazz, specifically. He had a celebrated record collection, and he frequently traveled the state to see his favorite artists perform. He had an infectious energy, always fun to be around, and never met a stranger – everyone felt like a friend in his presence.
He leaves to mourn his passing two sons Carlos Ahmad Yarbor (Kendra) of Miami Florida, Phillip Michael Yarbor of Charlotte, NC, one granddaughter Stellar Yarbor of Miami, Florida, his mother Hilda Yarbor, one brother James "Sofe" Yarbor, one uncle James Yarborough (Bernice) of Lansing, Michigan, three aunts Peggy Johnson of Burlington, NC, Rachel Randolph of Columbus, Ohio, Louise Currie of Mebane, North Carolina, a host of cousins, including Ricky Alexander of Burlington, NC, relatives, friends, and a devoted partner Zelma Kelson.
