Carla Craig Obituary
Memorial services will be held at Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Faribault on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Carla Rae, the eldest child of Richard and Jeanette (Nordmeier) Craig, was born April 25, 1957 in Faribault. She graduated from Faribault Senior High in 1975, Faribault Area Vocational Technical Institute in 1977 with an associate degree in accounting. She also received associate degrees in Business Management in 1984 from Mankato State University and in 2012 from South Central College as a Computer Systems Specialist. Carla worked in the offices of several local companies including St. Lucas Care Center, Cannon Valley Mental Health Clinic and Faribault Woolen Mill. She loved doing various crafts, especially crocheting baby blankets for all of the family babies and angel ornaments for family members, doilies, jewelry and afghans.
Carla was a very selfless woman, who shared her love and support for all those she encountered in life.
She is survived by her soulmate, James Ennis, whom she met in 1985 and shared a wonderful life for over 40 years in Faribault. She is also survived by her brother, Rick Craig and fiancé Julie Orara of Faribault; her sister, Tracee Johnson (Steve Smith) of Mankato; her nieces and nephews, Eric (Sara) Craig of Faribault, Sarah (Matt) Barrett of West Linn, OR, Makaila Johnson of Mankato and Jacob Johnson of Sioux Falls as well as a great nieces and nephews Isaiah and Niyah Barrett, Finley Craig and Silas Johnson; many other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
