Carla R. Scott, 51, of Lowell, IN, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. For twenty years, she worked as a secretary with DNL Wood Products in Crown Point, IN. Carla was a devoted Christian whose deep love for Jesus and her family shaped every part of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Craig; her parents, Connie and George Cornwell; and her stepbrother, Kory Cornwell, along with his children.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10th, at Price Cemetery in Russellville, IL, with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to her memorial fund, with checks payable to Goodwine Funeral Homes.
