Chris Hotsenpiller, 67, of Robinson, IL, passed away on October 16, 2025.
He was born February 7, 1958, in Sullivan, IN, the son of Lee & Patricia (Miller) Hotsenpiller, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Teresa (Meek) Hotsenpiller; his daughter, Lacee Hightshoe; and his brothers, Patrick Matthews and Kevin Matthews.
Chris grew up in Flat Rock, IL. He worked for several local employers through the years. He also proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Chris was the happiest outdoors and especially loved hunting, with deer season being one of his favorite times of year.
He is survived by his son Colt Hotsenpiller; his grandchildren, Copper Hotsenpiller, Meleah Hightshoe, and Niah Hightshoe; his brother and sister-in-law, Mark & Jean Matthews; as well as several nieces and nephews.
It was Chris's wish to be cremated, with no public services held. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock is assisting the family with arrangements.
