Carlee Laffargue

Carlee Laffargue passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born on February 28, 1931, to Eugene J. and Wilhelmina Guerchoux. Carlee worked for Hancock Whitney for 50 years until retiring. She also worked for Lishman's Grocery for several years. She enjoyed family, horses, farm life, and playing bingo at many locations. She is survived by Darlene Warner (Makayla), Dora Meyer (John), Anna James, Cynthia Burke (Michael), Vicki McCann (Chris), and Phil Millitello (Carla). Also survived by great and great-great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Jean J. Laffargue, brother, John E. Guerchoux, sister's; Laura Guerchoux, Bernice Tessier, Eugenie Gabriel, and Lydia Jochum. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, January 23, 2026, for 1:15 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Father Expedito, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Roch Cemetery #1, 1725 St. Roch Ave., New Orleans, LA 70119.
