Carlene Julia Alderman, age 87 went to be with the Lord on Sunday August 31, 2025. She was born on February 5, 1938 in Bradenton, FL. to the late William Carl Alderman and Dora Bell Albritton. Carlene was a lifetime resident of SW Florida, living in Myakka City. She was of the protestant faith, attending church with her family until her recent illness.

Carlene loved horseback riding, working in her yard tending to her plants. Traveling as often as possible, but her favorite thing was spending time with her family especially the grandchildren.

She will be remembered as a beloved mother, and grandmother. Her family was everything to her each and every one.

She is survived by five children, Sabrina Wengerd, Natalie Morganstern both of Palmetto, FL., Eddie Sellars (Brenda Carney) of Myakka City, FL. Kimberly Hertzog(Steve Zuidema)of Bradenton, FL and Lorie (Bobby) Manning of Myakka City, Fl. Nine grandchildren Ryan Helto, Katie Sellars, Amanda West, Jared Sellars, Richard Morganstern, Erik Hertzog, Lucas Manning, Myah Beck and Sabra Manning. Ten great-grandchildren Dillon, Alexis, Debra, Emalynn, Wyatt, Carlie, Cora, Cameran, Layne and Miley. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Carlene was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Glen Alderman, Kenneth Alderman and Duane Alderman, six sisters Bert, Daphne, Viola, Claira, Bonnie and Margie.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Bethany Baptist Church, 26604 State Road 64 E, Myakka City, FL.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am at the church with Rev. Orain Albrittion and Rev. Bobby Manning officiating. Burial will be at Bethany Baptist Cemetery next to the church.
