Carlene Holland Greer, age 90, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, daughter of Carlos Holland and Lela Chumney Holland, departed this life on Friday, February 27, 2026, at her home.
Mrs. Greer was a longtime resident of Somerville and graduated from Lewis County High School. She married the love of her life, Jimmie Greer, in 1954, and the two enjoyed life together until his death in 2019. She was involved in Music and Ministry most of her life and those were two things she dearly loved. In her later years she spent much of her time ministering through the Women of Hope Recovery Center.
Mrs. Carlene is survived by her daughters, LeAnne Fryman (Jimmie) of Cordova, Tennessee, Jeanie Ferguson of Somerville, Tennessee and Candy Barber (Roy) of Collierville, Tennessee; 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, her brother, Mac Holland of Brentwood, Tennessee and her sister, Marilyn Hensley of Hohenwald, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Greer; her parents, Carlos and Lela Holland; and her brother, Paul Holland.
Services for Mrs. Greer will be private.
