Carlene is survived by her children, Stephanie and Jason Sturdivant of McAlester, OK, and David Linker of Wilburton, OK; grandchildren, Brittany and Jared Choat of Stonewall, OK, and Hunter Carter of Wilburton, OK; five great grandchildren, Ayden, Scarlett, Maevyn, James, Jadik; three brothers, Rick and Pat Place of Georgia, Ron and Wilma Place of Missouri, and Richard Place of Allen, TX; as well as numerous extended family and a host of friends.
Carlene is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Sharon Place, Carol Bolton, Mary Rebell, and Crystal Seabrook; two husbands, Billy Shadden and Alfred Linker
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina.
Graveside services will be on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 3:00PM at Cupco Cemetery in Yanush, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
