Carlie Ann Korey, 48, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on August 27, 2023, in Gillette, WY. Carlie was born on September 23, 1974, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Steve Allen Kopelcheck and Mary Ellen Kopelcheck. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and grandmother.
Carlie was a caring and hard-working individual who loved her family, animals and especially her grandchildren. She embraced the motto of "Peace, Love &Rock n Roll"
Carlie is survived by her father, Steve Allen Kopelcheck; her mother, Karen Jean kopelcheck; her siblings, Stephen John Kopelcheck and Dara Gladys Kopelcheck; her son, Joseph Anthony Korey; her niece, Autum M Kipp; her granddaughter, Snowden Korey; and her grandson, Remington Korey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ellen Kopelcheck, her grandparents, John and Emily Napiecek. As well as her mothers parents Kate & Stanley Przywara.
Carlie attended Sage Valley Junior High in Gillette, WY and Seton La-Salle High School in Pittsburgh, PA, where she also earned her associates degree. It was in Pittsburgh that she met and married her late husband Joe Korey and also gave birth to her son Joey A Korey. Carlie enjoyed regularly attended St. Matthew's Catholic church with her farther in Gillette, WY. As well as adventures and bonding time with her family when she had the chance.
Carlie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Carlie's life at St. Matthews Church in Gillette, WY. Service will be held November 11th 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Please join us in remembering and celebrating the life of Carlie Ann Korey.
