RICHARDSON, Carlie, 86, went to be with our Savior on Monday, November 9, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, of 55 years; and his two siblings, Clifford and Avanell. He is survived by his four children, Mary Jo Sanderson, Vickie Ogozaly, Cindy Clark and Neil Richardson; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lucille, Idell and Wanda Faye; and faithful friend, Helen Shinault. Carl served two terms in the Army Corps of Engineers during World War II. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Avenue. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 13, in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, with a funeral procession to leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bon Secours Hospice Program, 5875 Bremo Road, Suite 710, Richmond, Va. 23226.
