*November 9, 1952 – July 21, 2025*
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carlo Vennettilli, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Carlo passed away peacefully at his residence in Macomb, Michigan, on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the age of 72.
Carlo was born on November 9, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, to Elvidio and Josephine Vennettilli. He dedicated 30 years of his life as a Hi Lo Driver, where his work ethic and friendly demeanor left an indelible mark.
Carlo's joy for life was evident in his many passions. He was an avid coin collector, golfer, and bowler, and enjoyed frequent trips to the casino. His love for music brought him to many concerts, and he cherished the time spent with his family above all else.
Carlo is survived by his devoted wife, Debra Vennettilli, of Macomb, MI. He was a loving father to Andrea (Phillip) Kozey, Scott (Rosella) Vennettilli, and Carlo Jr. (Alison) Vennettilli. His grandchildren, Alexander and Luke Kozey, Gianna and Graziella Vennettilli, and Valentina and Vincent Vennettilli, will fondly remember their grandfather for his warmth and wisdom.
Carlo was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elvidio and Josephine Vennettilli. His legacy will continue to live on through his family and the numerous lives he touched.
Family and friends are invited to honor Carlo's memory at a Funeral Mass on Friday, July 25th, 2025, at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Macomb, Michigan. Instate will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wasik Funeral Home-Shelby Township. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in Carlo's memory, or simply take a moment to enjoy a game of golf or a cherished family gathering, as he so often loved.
Carlo will be deeply missed, but his spirit and love will forever remain in our hearts.

Carlo we had so many great times, at work or a Tiger game or concert, you was a great friend I'm very saddened to hear the news. We kept talking about doing lunch, that will forever be a regret of mine, I'm sorry friend. Sometimes we get so busy in life. Deepest sympathy to your family, I know they must be crushed, just know Carlo was well liked and respected at work. I only wish the union was notified, I didn't find out until 11 am this morning and would of loved to pay my last respects to my old friend, as I'm sure plenty of my coworkers would have liked to do. The plant floor was all abuzz as the news spread. Carlo RIP my friend until we meet again.
