Carlos was born on October 30, 1960, in Paute, Azuay, Ecuador, to the late Luis Felipe Bermeo Trelles and Elsa Bertha Trelles Estrada. He later made his home in New Jersey, where he built a life grounded in hard work, resilience, and love for his family.
Carlos was a loving and devoted sibling to his brother, Cosme Bermeo Trelles, with whom he shared a close and meaningful bond. He was known by those who knew him as a kind-hearted and humble man, always willing to help others and offer quiet support when it was needed most. His memory will be cherished by his family and friends, who will forever remember his warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit.
