With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Carlos Roberto Castro Santos, aged 46, a resident of Plainfield, New Jersey, who departed this world on August 15, 2025.

Carlos was born in Choloma, Cortés, Honduras—a place he always carried in his heart, even as he built a life thousands of miles away. From a young age, Carlos showed a quiet strength, a deep sense of responsibility, and a love for his family that guided every decision he made.

To those who knew him, Carlos was much more than a partner, father, and friend; he was a constant presence, a source of comfort, and a man who always put others before himself. His devotion to his family was unmatched. He worked tirelessly to provide, care, and guide, never seeking recognition—only wishing to improve the lives of those he loved.

As a devoted partner, Carlos shared a bond built on trust, laughter, and compassion. As a father, he was his children’s biggest supporter—their protector, teacher, and hero. As a friend, Carlos was someone you could always count on—reliable, kind, and always ready with a warm smile or a word of encouragement.

Carlos had a special way of making everyone feel seen and valued. Whether sharing a meal, offering a helping hand, or simply listening, he gave his time and heart generously.

Family and friends are warmly invited to honor his life on Saturday, August 23, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, located at 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, NJ 07060.

Repatriation services to Honduras are being handled and supervised by Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home.

~~~~~
Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Carlos Roberto Castro Santos, de 46 años, residente de Plainfield, Nueva Jersey, quien partió de este mundo el 15 de agosto de 2025.
Carlos nació en Choloma, Cortés, Honduras, un lugar que siempre llevó en el corazón, incluso mientras construía una vida a miles de kilómetros de distancia. Desde muy joven, Carlos demostró una fuerza silenciosa, un profundo sentido de responsabilidad y un amor por su familia que guiaba cada una de sus decisiones.
Para quienes lo conocieron, Carlos fue mucho más que un compañero, padre y amigo; fue una presencia constante, una fuente de consuelo y un hombre que siempre antepuso a los demás antes que a sí mismo. Su devoción por su familia fue incomparable. Trabajó incansablemente para proveer, cuidar y guiar, sin pedir reconocimiento—solo deseando mejorar la vida de quienes amaba.
Como compañero devoto, Carlos compartió un lazo construido sobre la confianza, la risa y la compasión. Como padre, fue el mayor admirador de sus hijos—su protector, maestro y héroe. Como amigo, Carlos era alguien en quien se podía confiar—responsable, bondadoso y siempre dispuesto a brindar una sonrisa cálida o una palabra de aliento.
Carlos tenía una manera especial de hacer que todos se sintieran vistos y valorados. Ya fuera compartiendo una comida, ofreciendo una mano amiga o simplemente escuchando, entregaba su tiempo y su corazón con generosidad.
Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a rendir homenaje a su vida el sábado 23 de agosto de 3:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Scarpa Las Rosas, ubicada en 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, NJ 07060.
Los servicios de repatriación hacia Honduras están bajo el cuidado y supervisión de la Funeraria Scarpa Las Rosas.
