Carlos Antonio Chavez, age 28, of Belen, New Mexico, passed away on July 17,2024.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirlee Baca, Jerry Baca; and grandfather, Tony Padilla.
He is survived by his loving father, Glenn Chavez; grandparents, Leroy and Armelina Chavez. Grandmother Florella Padilla. Aunts Loretta Armijo/Paul, Roseanne Dolby/Kevin, Tina Bibiano, Paula Solano/Gerald, and Kathrine Padilla. Uncle Kevin Chavez, cousins, Gabby Bibiano, and Alex; as well as many other family members, and friends.
Services for Carlos will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A visitation will take place at 9:30 am, followed by the rosary at 10:00 am. A mass will then be recited at 10:30 am. Carlos will then be placed to rest at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens immediately following the services.
Honoring the wonderful life of Carlos Antonio Chavez his unique qualities were being a talented diesel mechanic, in which he obtained his associated degree in. His favorite pastime was hanging out with family and friends. Carlos' passions were writing and drawing. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.
