1938 - 2025
Tranquilino "Tante" Blea, age 86, a resident of Peralta, NM, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM.The family invites loved ones to visit www.romerofuneralhomenm.com for updates regarding services.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Isabel Blea; his beloved granddaughter, Michelle; and six siblings. Tante is survived by his loving wife, Aurelia Blea; son, Gilbert Blea; daughters, Isabel Torres (Andy) and Betty Aragon (Antonio); 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren all of whom will miss him dearly.
He was born on September 22, 1938, in Albuquerque, NM, and was a resident of Peralta, NM for more than 70 years. Tante retired from the Los Lunas School District, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He was a gifted woodworker and a natural storyteller.
Tante loved sharing memories and lessons from his life with those around him. His warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

My deepesst condolences to the family of Tante. I worked with Tante while at the Los Lunas Schools. He was a dedicated worker and a very good man. He will be missed.
